Thelonious Alone in San Francisco is the third solo album from legendary jazz pianist Thelonious Monk, following Piano Solo and Thelonious Himself. Recorded at Fugazi Hall without a live audience the album was recorded in October 1959. This new edition of the album is released as part of the Original Jazz Classics Series on 180-gram vinyl pressed at RTI with all-analog mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio and a Stoughton tip-on Jacket.
