The Residents are credited on the cover art as main artists. The Residents themselves, via Richard Anderson (who is the project coordinator at Cherry Red Records for Residents releases), reached out to TPOS and requested copies of the cd and cassette of "Eskimo Deconstructed Reconstructed" for their band archive. TPOS was told by Mr. Anderson that The Residents had no objection to fan created releases such as "Eskimo Deconstructed Reconstructed", and in fact, were pleased with them.
The Residents "Eskimo Deconstructed" was sampled for this release; they did not have input during the creation of it.
