Sinai Vessel's final studio album was released July 26, 2024 and previously only available on tour. By October the band had broken up, with Pitchfork writing "Cordes formed Sinai Vessel in 2011, at 16 years old, in his hometown of Hickory, North Carolina. Largely a solo project, the band released four studio albums of emo and indie-folk music over the years, starting with 2011’s Labor Pains through 2017’s Brokenlegged and 2020’s Ground Aswim. Sinai Vessel’s final album, I Sing, was released this past July."
