After dropping several singles through the beginning of 2022, Simon SMTHNG is releasing his first album of the year entitled ‘HEATDEATH’.
A follow-up to 2021’s ‘because we must’, ‘HEATDEATH’ was made with the intention of soundtracking the end of the universe as we know it; a therapy of sorts for the current malaise of the world.
The album has both a heavy footwork influence as heard on tracks like ‘parallax error’ and the opening track ‘overindulgence’, as well as more soulful leanings like ‘ijustcantijustcant’ and ‘regrets pt 5’.
