Don Telling’s Island Mysteries was formed in 1992 by rogue oceanographers, enthusiastic ethnomusicologists, and reluctant bandleader Don Telling. As of January 2021, Quintet (five members) includes Ned Brownlow (percussion, bird calls), Scott Thompson (piano, accordion, theremin, koto, oud, insect sound), Davey Blackburn (percussion, leaf sound), Bo White (bass, nuances of mammals), Tyler Baum (slide guitar, furniture repair)Music Produced, Arranged, Mixed and Performed by Don Telling with B.
