MORE INFO:

This recently unearthed recording captures saxophonist Alan Braufman with his five-piece band in an early 1975 live radio session soon after recording his debut album Valley of Search for the India Navigation label. This was the first meeting of William Parker and Cooper-Moore, whose musical partnership has flourished ever since. The 94-minute performance is spread over 5 sides on 3 LPs / 2CDs. Newly mastered with liner notes by the host, Susan Mannheimer.

Braufman has earned worldwide acclaim from Pitchfork, NPR, NY Times, The WIRE, Rolling Stone, and more after the 2018 reissue of Valley of Search, and 2020's new album, T The Fire Still Burns.
