Rightly so, the album is a sublime mixture of classic 70s reggae, afro beat and funk. His first recordings were with The Vagabonds and The Granville Williams Band, and sis first solo records were for Studio One with trumpeter David Madden and released as 'I'm and David'. In 1970 he connected with Count Ossie and was part of the 'The Mystic Revelation of Rastafari' where Cedric played Saxophone, Flute and arranged the horn section.
