Joe Samba, originally from Salem, New Hampshire and currently residing in South Carolina and is one of the best kept secrets out of the east coast. Boasting a vocal range unmatched by peers in the scene coupled with phenomenal guitar playing and top notch songwriting, Joe Samba is well on his way to becoming a household name.

Joe will be releasing his sophomore effort "Far From Forever" and the follow up to his 2019 debut album "The Wrong Impression" which charted at #1 on Billboard's Reggae Chart.

Joe is carrying lots momentum into 2022 after 2021 saw Joe explode into the American reggae scene via the release of his EP, Crazy Little Village (August 2021). His single “Beef” (released in March 2021 and included on the album) received strong radio support on the coasts and got heavy rotation in Hawaii, which landed Joe an inter-island Hawaii tour supporting Hawaii powerhouse, Kolohe Kai.

Joe Samba kicks off his new album campaign "Far From Forever" (6/17) by teaming up with fellow Northeastern natives, The Elovaters, to drop the new single “Losing It,” a feel good reggae inspired anthem touching on the drudgery of the musician side hustles needed in order to make it while staying focused and positive on the larger goal of a career in the music industry.

“Losing It” marks Joe’s first studio release since changing his name from Joe Sambo to Joe Samba. (Joe’s original name is Joseph Sambataro.) Joe was touring the south with his band in 2021, when he was approached by a gentleman letting him know the racial connotation of the word “Sambo” and its racial implications harking back to the Jim Crow era. “After educating myself more about the word and its historical context,” said Sambataro, “I made the decision that I had to change my name as it's the right thing to do. The original meaning of the word and its hurtful significance to so many is so far from my musical message of love, inclusion, and positivity and something I don't ever want to be confused in association with,” Joe said,

Thematically, love, positivity, and the pursuit of one’s dreams and creative endeavors is the common thread throughout the album that is beautifully presented with clever lyrics and infectious hooks.
